Board President Shelly Enloe announced the acceptance of the resignation of Blue Ridge ISD Board Trustee Place 6, Phillip Pulliam, at the Sept. 16 regular meeting.
"I move to accept the resignation of Blue Ridge ISD Board of Trustee Place 6, Phillip Pulliam," moved Gary Lillard and seconded by Kevin Dauster; the motion passed with six yeas and one abstention (Phillip Pulliam). The board presented a plaque recognizing Pulliam's service to the district.
The acceptance created the vacancy for Place 6 that the board subsequently filled by appointment. The action was recorded on the meeting minutes and reflected in the roll call vote noted in the transcript.
