The Blythe City Council approved the consent calendar with a unanimous vote after correcting a missing page in the solid-waste rate adjustment report. Council Member Halby moved approval of consent items 1–9, 11 and 13–15; Council Member Burton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Among the items approved, staff recommended and the council authorized awarding the Barnard/Lovekin Storm Lift Rehabilitation Project to AZCA in a contract amount to exceed $196,750, with $35,000 for contingencies and a total project budget not to exceed $231,450. The council also introduced Resolutions Nos. 2026-005 through 2026-008 preliminarily approving engineer’s reports and setting public hearings on Lighting District Nos. 1 and 2; the hearing dates were corrected to June 16, 2026.
