Staff reports DNR bid and TranGo facility among a busy year for Omak

At the Feb. 3, 2026 Planning Commission meeting, Building Official Tyler Wells said the city is facing a busy year of mostly residential projects and reported that the DNR project went to bid on January 28, 2026. Wells also said TranGo is planning to build a new facility at Koala and Quince (north of Marshal's).
Contract Planner Kurt Danison added that a Park and Recreation workshop to review the Park Plan is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2026 and that the agenda and documents are available on the city website. Commissioners discussed various city projects but took no formal action on the items during the meeting.
