Omak Council renews AWC GIS consortium agreement to support Public Works asset management

The Omak City Council on Jan. 20 approved Resolution 11-2026, an updated agreement with the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) for GIS consortium services. City Administrator Todd McDaniel explained that AWC provides GIS services supporting Public Works' gWorks asset management program and that the city has used that service since 2018.
"AWC provides Geographical Information Systems (GIS) services which is used for the Public Works gWorks asset management program. The city has used this service since 2018," McDaniel said, according to the meeting minutes. Member Steve Clark moved to approve the resolution, Member Maria Lassila seconded, and the Council voted unanimously to adopt it.
