North Beach TV outlines streaming upgrades, signs yearlong maintenance contract

North Beach Community TV told the City of Ocean Shores Lodging Tax Advisory Committee that it has expanded its local offerings and is investing in streaming infrastructure to reach residents and visitors.
"North Beach TV is the only local television outlet for Ocean Shores. We operate on a 24/7 coast channel 68, and we concurrently stream our programming to Roku now and to our Internet page," said Daryl, a committee member and North Beach TV representative. He said LTAC funds have helped upgrade the station's cable and streaming capability and that the station recently signed a yearlong maintenance contract with Castus to stabilize scheduling and streaming.
Daryl described plans to add Fire TV and Apple TV distribution, consolidate video-on-demand workflows and roll out a revised website and a direct-mail marketing campaign to promote the channel and attract advertisers. He said North Beach TV also contracted Northwest Web Design for local and regional marketing to increase the station's profile as an advertising outlet.
During Q&A, the committee clarified financials: Daryl reported a remaining LTAC balance of roughly $12,571.50 and said the streaming contract for the coming year is about $10,500. He noted the station experienced a recent technical issue that required vendor support but said the problem was fixed and documented.
