Osceola County supervisors approve FY26/27 tax levies, set August meeting dates

The Osceola County Board of Supervisors voted on July 28, 2026, to approve the county’s fiscal-year 2026–27 tax levies. Jayson Vande Hoef moved to adopt the levies and Mike Schulte seconded; the motion carried with an all-aye vote.
At the same meeting in the county courthouse boardroom in Sibley, the board also set its August meeting schedule, approving meetings for Aug. 11 and Aug. 25 and directing that claims be paid on those dates. The board approved the July 28 agenda and unanimously accepted the minutes from the July 21 meeting. Several routine payroll registers (July 22 and July 24) were reviewed by the board.
