The committee’s top cross-cutting themes were student well‑being and safety, foundational infrastructure (HVAC), integrated technology and future‑readiness, and multipurpose/shared-use facilities. Presenters highlighted recommendations such as integrated badge access with unified video cameras, audio enhancement for accessibility, early learning investments and exploration of a multipurpose indoor complex and CTE hubs. "Student well-being and safety was absolutely the number 1," a presenter said when summarizing the committee’s priorities.
Trustees and committee members asked about specific items — including the possibility of a district data center and how equity between two high schools would be handled at Memorial Stadium — and staff said the next step is a board workshop to refine implementation and budgeting.
