At a May 20 special meeting, the Board of Trustees of Canadian ISD approved a Standard Form Owner/Contractor Agreement with Allen's Tri‑State Mechanical Inc. to serve as the contractor for the district's sanitary sewer repair project.
"I move that the Board approve the Standard Form Owner/Contractor Agreement with Allen's Tri-State Mechanical Inc., to be the contractor for the District's Sanitary Sewer Repair Project, in substantially the form presented, authorize the superintendent to finalize the Agreement as may be necessary, and further authorize the superintendent to execute the Agreement on the District's behalf," Trustee Jessica Cowden moved. Trustee Bradley Flynn seconded the motion. The board recorded a unanimous 7–0 vote in favor.
The approval authorizes the superintendent to finalize any necessary agreement language and to execute the contract on behalf of Canadian ISD. The public meeting record did not include a contract value, start date for work, or a detailed project schedule; those items were not specified and will be presented to the board as part of the finalized agreement, per the motion language.
After the contract vote the board approved a motion to adjourn at 5:32 PM.
