Burleson ISD honors Olympic medalist Conner Prince and student state, national competitors

The board and district staff presented a plaque to BISD alumnus Conner Prince, who "received the silver medal in the Men’s Skeet event at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics," and staff recognized students who earned the Lone Star FFA Degree and competed at state and national Technology Student Association events.
District staff named multiple students and accomplishments: Lone Star FFA Degree recipients from Burleson High School and Centennial High School; Game Development and Technology Student Association competitors (e.g., Ethan Martin, Olivia Cass, Hayden Rogstad, Paelyn Estrada); state photography placings for Graycie Coolidge and Keira Ferdinand; and middle-school honors including state first place in Video Game Design. Dr. Jimerson and Dr. Mikala Hill participated in the recognition events.
Board members offered brief remarks of congratulations during the meeting. The recognitions were part of the regular meeting’s special recognition segment and required no board action.
