Playground installation and cross-country races among staff reports

Dan Curley, staff, briefed the board on maintenance and event coordination. He said "the installation of the playground equipment at Hibbard Park will be done tomorrow and the repairs to Sutton park’s slide will also be done very soon," and added that staff were working with the Cheney School District about holding cross-country races at the 50-acre park.
The board did not vote on any capital or maintenance contracts at this meeting; Curley said staff will proceed with scheduled installations and repairs and coordinate logistics for school events.
