Police Department Representative (S2) told the commission the department executed two search warrants last month that resulted in seizing more than 200 grams of cocaine. He described the operation as a significant drug investigation for the department and said related charges were being pursued.
S2 also discussed training and reimbursement: he said the department completed training eligible for DOJ reimbursement and expects roughly $320 per officer back later in the year. He noted upcoming conferences and training for staff that are supported by drug‑grant funds.
"We executed 2 additional search warrants this last month and ended up seizing over 200 grams of cocaine as a result of that investigation," Police Department Representative (S2) said on the record.
