The Broaddus ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Oct. 15 regular meeting, including the business manager's financial report, check payments, bond funds, TexPool items, approval of Sept. 10 minutes and the sanctioning of the San Augustine County 4‑H Organization as an extracurricular activity.
"I make a motion to approve the consent agenda," said Michael Sowell, and the motion, seconded by Jathan Green, passed with six yeas and one absence (Travis Elizalde). The board's recorded vote listed Jathan Green, Pete Mancill, Micha Miller, Doug Sowell, Michael Sowell and Brock Weatherford as voting yea.
Board members did not extend discussion on individual consent items during open session. The consent package keeps routine financial and operational items moving while formally adding the San Augustine County 4‑H Organization to the district's extracurricular roster.
