Los Lunas honors Debra Sanchez’s 31 years of service; state rep voices support for META GRT

During the public input portion of the March 12 meeting the council presented Debra Sanchez with a retirement recognition plaque honoring 31 years of service to the village; Nancy Jo Gonzales presented a bouquet on behalf of village staff.
Beth Waldrop, who identified herself as one of two regional representatives from the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department covering Valencia, Bernalillo and Torrance counties, told the council she was present to support the META GRT. Waldrop said, "I have the pleasure of representing Valencia Bernalillo in Torrance County and I'm here this evening to support the META GRT here in Los Lunas." The council offered the recognition and then proceeded to the agenda business.
