Los Lunas trustees approve infrastructure acceptance for Vistas at Los Senderos Unit 1
Summary
The board accepted subdivision infrastructure for Vistas at Los Senderos Unit 1 after staff reported the developer met final punch-list requirements and Molson Corbett issued a final approval; acceptance will trigger release of the developer's infrastructure bond.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Los Lunas voted March 12 to accept the infrastructure for Vistas at Los Senderos Unit 1, releasing the developer's infrastructure bond once acceptance is processed.
Alex Ochoa presented the item and said, "We're requesting the infrastructure acceptance for the subdivision the Vistas at Los Senderos. We did receive the final punch, walk through and also the final approval letter from Molson Corbett on February 19th, which did state that the developers met all of the requirements for acceptance." Council moved and approved the acceptance by a 4–0 vote (Councilors Romero, Ortiz, Runyon and Chavez voting yes).
The village record notes a bond was in place for the infrastructure; staff said the bond will be released now that Molson Corbett confirmed final approval. The council did not ask additional questions before voting. The acceptance instructs staff to proceed with administrative steps to release the bond and close the subdivision punch list.
