Bowie ISD trustees approve February financial reports, investment report and tax-levy adjustment

At the March 16 meeting trustees approved Consent Agenda V.A.1–4, which included the February 2026 Financial Report, the district’s Investment Report and a tax-levy adjustment from the Montague County Tax Appraisal District, along with listed donations. Trustee Jeff Jackson moved approval; Trustee Angie Christmas seconded the motion. The motion passed 6–0 with President Jacky Betts and five other trustees recorded in favor.
The board then approved Budget Amendment V.A.5 in a separate motion, also passing 6–0. The consent votes finalize the routine financial items for the district for February and authorize the posted budget amendment as presented in Exhibit A.
