Stewart gave the next public steps for the project: a community open house at the government center (in‑person), a likely virtual community meeting around Sept. 14, planning‑commission committee meetings in mid‑September, and a Planning Commission public hearing tentatively scheduled for September 30 followed by Board of Supervisors consideration in October. "We've got a committee meeting with the planning commission tentatively scheduled for September 10... the planning commission public hearing scheduled for September 30, and then a decision by the board of supervisors," he said. Staff asked task‑force members to RSVP for the Aug. 3 meeting and to send in written comments.
