Board approves list of general contractors for CMAR negotiations

The list of firms approved for negotiation includes Banes General Contractors Inc., Buford Thompson Company LTD, Dantex General Contractors Inc., Jordan Foster Construction LLC, LDCM Solutions LLC, AO General Contractors Inc., Efficio Construction Services Inc., Harrington Construction LLC dba/HB Construction, Performance Services Inc., and Tigua Construction Services Inc. "Mrs. Trout moved to approve administrations recommendation, second by Mrs. Mendoza," the minutes state.
During the discussion, Mr. Simental asked whether the CMAR selections will be brought back to the board once finalized; Mr. Blanco explained the procurement procedure and the process for returning to the board with final CMAR contracts. The minutes do not record contract values or detailed scoring criteria for selection.
Administration will proceed with negotiation and return recommended CMAR contract terms to the board for final approval.
