Broaddus ISD board approves consent agenda, financial reports

The board voted to approve the consent agenda, which included the business manager's financial report, check payments, bond funds, TexPool items and minutes of the March 12, 2026 regular meeting. Michael Sowell made the motion to approve the consent agenda; Doug Sowell seconded it. The measure passed with six yeas and one absence. "Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1," the minutes record.
The approval maintains existing financial oversight and processing for district operations. No substantive discussion or amendments to the consent items were recorded during the meeting. The board proceeded to items of business following the vote.
