Sabrina Holleran of Northfield raised a scam alert during public comment, telling council she had seen a posting on the City website that targets individuals and businesses that submit Planning and Zoning board applications.
"She would like the City to send out postcards, she felt it should be taken seriously - seniors are victimized," Holleran said, and asked the City to take steps to notify potentially affected residents. Council President Bucci replied that Council could discuss the request and no formal action was taken during the work session. Holleran emphasized concern that seniors are particularly vulnerable to such scams.
