On March 24 the City of Northfield Common Council voted to introduce the 2026 municipal budget under Resolution 110A-2026. Councilman Notaro moved the introduction and Councilman Dewees seconded; the Deputy Municipal Clerk read the resolution by title and said this step is the formal introduction with no public input at this meeting.
The Deputy Clerk stated the budget synopsis would be published on the municipal website on March 26, 2026, and the public hearing and final adoption will occur at 7:00 p.m. on April 21, 2026. The full budget was posted in the City Hall lobby and on the City website. The motion to introduce the budget passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
