District reports strong growth in SPED and at-risk math despite lower-than-expected science STAAR scores

Guerra reported specific subgroup growth in math: "SPED Math: 96% of students exhibited positive growth, with 92% showing strong growth," and "At-Risk Math: 95% of students demonstrated positive growth, with 93% indicating strong growth." She also said the English Learner group consists of only four students and will be monitored individually. Guerra reported preliminary district enrollment between 436 and 440 students and said SPPI 11 and SPPI 12 coding have been completed and submitted in the summer submission to meet timelines.
