Aquilla ISD trustees voted Aug. 26 to approve a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Hill County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP). The motion was made by Will Pinner, seconded by David Snipes, and recorded as passing unanimously.
The meeting minutes record the board’s approval but do not include the MOU’s detailed terms, funding responsibilities or student placement procedures. District staff will proceed with administrative steps to execute the MOU and coordinate with Hill County JJAEP on placement or services as required.
