The Aquilla ISD Board approved an update to the district’s FFAC local policy to allow district-issued EpiPens and rescue Albuterol inhalers to be available at school. Whittney Hines presented the proposed change during the Aug. 26 meeting. Trustee Will Pinner moved to approve the update, Diane Montgomery seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The board did not record additional conditions or limits in the minutes beyond the approval; the updated local policy language will be incorporated into district policy documents and implemented by school staff responsible for student health and safety.
