Board hears survey and easement updates for Black, Ruckdeschel, Walker and Powell farms

Board members reviewed individual farm progress under old business. According to the minutes, the Black farm's survey has been completed so the paperwork can be finalized for state submission. The Ruckdeschel application has been submitted to and accepted by the state and "this farm will appear on the State Board’s February 12 meeting agenda for consideration of easement purchase." The Walker farm has had survey and title work ordered to move the file forward.
Separately, Chairman Moniot provided an update from the Powell Farm manager about current plans. The board directed staff to request the status of the farm's required Conservation Plan update and information regarding planned fencing; staff (Sheryl Kelly) was asked to send a letter to the manager seeking that information.
