At their Jan. 22 meeting the Wayne County Commissioners recognized Transportation Director Joni Stark for five years of service and Administrative Assistant Nicole Guven for one year. Assistant Human Services Director Pamela Wilson introduced Stark and praised her for handling additional responsibilities while the county has not yet backfilled her prior position. Deputy Juvenile Probation Chief Fran Mullen introduced Guven and commended her fit with the office.
Commissioner Jocelyn Cramer provided a brief update on the Urgent Care Walk-in Center. A separate Wayne Tomorrow! update mentioned activity around the Food Locker program and noted that a farm tour is being planned for the coming summer. These updates were presented as informational items; no formal actions were recorded in the minutes.
