Canadian ISD hears SHAC, facilities and FFA reports at August meeting
Summary
Administrators presented the annual School Health Advisory Council report, facilities updates, enrollment and attendance data, and recognized FFA students and advisors at the Aug. 11 Board meeting.
At the Aug. 11 meeting district staff presented routine reports required for the start of the school year.
Molly Kerrigan presented the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) annual report. Scott Brewster delivered facilities updates. The agenda also included enrollment and attendance figures and the presentation of student handbooks. Superintendent Dr. Julia McMains and FFA advisors Rebecca Noggler and Marshall Swafford presented and the Board formally recognized the FFA students and their advisors.
The minutes summarize that each report was presented; they do not reproduce the reports' contents or data tables. Administrators are expected to follow up in writing or at a future meeting if further action is required.
