The Bridge City Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a consent agenda at its Oct. 21, 2024, regular meeting. President Rebecca Rutledge presented items A–J, which included approval of minutes from the Sept. 16 and 18 meetings, the tax collection report, cash investment and financial reports, paid invoices, budget amendments, utilities, surplus declarations, approved fundraisers and authorization for a basketball overnight trip.
Trustee Michael Johnson moved to approve the consent action items as presented and Trustee Paul Zoch seconded; the motion "carried unanimously," according to the meeting minutes. Seven trustees were recorded as present at the meeting: Mike Johnson, Mark Anderson, Paul Zoch, Thad Hill, Judy Cole, Jerry McInnis and Rebecca Rutledge.
