Board members reviewed July financial prints showing General Fund estimated revenue of $2,833,573 and total budgeted expenditures of $2,926,066. The report shows year-to-date expenditures of $2,558,330.52 (87.43% expended) and a reported realized variance on revenues of -$99,198.17 (103.50% realized against budget lines). Printed line-item detail noted large payroll-related entries under instruction and higher-than-expected plant maintenance payroll costs.
The check register for July included payments to vendors and service providers across multiple funds. Notable entries in the General Fund included Perry Weather ($788.37), Stroeher & Son Inc. ($1,109.22) and Arnold Oil Company ($343.46); the report shows a grand total of $29,339.88 for the month across all funds. The board approved the register as part of consent actions.
