Board approves Harris County interlocal for constables and insurance renewals

Ms. Shumona Collins moved to approve the Harris County Interlocal Agreement to provide law enforcement services with 16 constables at 70%. Mr. Dennis Cedillo seconded the motion and the Board voted 7–0 to approve the arrangement. The Board later approved the district's property and casualty insurance proposal and the TASB Workers' Compensation Aggregate Deductible Plan, each by a 7–0 vote.
Board members presented the actions as routine renewals and contractual approvals necessary for campus safety and financial protection. The decisions authorize district staff to finalize contractual documents and proceed with implementation and vendor coordination.
