The committee heard about efforts to provide Thanksgiving meals to student families in need and how the district coordinates support.
Campus representatives reported rising emotional and behavioral needs: the FLM campus indicated students are "acting out" and staff often link behavior to lack of attention at home; CMS reported behavioral and social issues among students; and CHS reported students dealing with adult-level emotional issues and that the school has addressed three pregnancies this school year.
Members discussed ongoing supports and referrals but did not record any formal action beyond sharing information and continuing to coordinate services.
