Warden John Lenkey asked that Prime Care provide a monthly report showing detox usage and participation in the medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) program; Lenkey said Prime Care confirmed its willingness to send a representative to monthly Jail Board meetings if requested. The request aims to give commissioners clearer data on clinical services delivered inside the jail.
Staff also updated the board on drug-and-alcohol staffing: level-of-care assessments are continuing about twice a week (staff member Rachel) and Recovery Support Worker Julie is conducting sessions in the jail. The prior treatment person resigned and Lori is currently being trained to take over the assignment, coordinated by the Assistant Director of Drug and Alcohol and Deputy Warden Angie Kern. Warden Lenkey also reported a tentative IGNITE graduation date of April 2, 2026.
