Hutto ISD board approves contract offer to Jessica Solis for Director of Bilingual Services

The Hutto Independent School District Board of Trustees voted in open session to approve the superintendent's recommendation to offer an employment contract to Jessica Solis for assignment as Director of Bilingual Services. "I make a motion to approve as presented the superintendent's recommendation to offer an employment contract to Jessica Solis, who will be assigned to the position of Director of Bilingual Services," Trustee Owens said when moving the motion; the board recorded the motion as seconded by Trustee Chavez and the motion passed.
Trustees also approved administrator and teacher contracts in a separate motion later in the same series of actions. The hiring motion followed the board's closed-session personnel discussion and was announced when the board returned to open session. Administration will take the steps necessary to finalize the contract and assignment.
