"It is not cheap, but it does, it will offset the cost, like they're not going to go to a couple conferences that they would normally go to, that would be essentially be the same price," Dr. Lowry said, describing the program structure and the district's plan to split the $11,000 cost over two years. Several trustees praised the program as a way to build internal leadership and retain principals.
Trustee Owens moved to approve the Holdsworth Campus Leadership Program memorandum of understanding as presented; the motion was seconded and carried. Trustees discussed contingency plans if a principal left the district mid‑program, with staff noting typical MOU or reimbursement practices.
