Chapel Hill ISD renews shared services agreement with Tyler ISD for RDSPD

The board approved renewal of a shared services agreement with Tyler ISD’s Regional Day School Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (RDSPD). Blaire Buchanan, Director of Special Programs, told trustees the RDSPD provides specialized support for qualifying Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and that Tyler ISD reviews and renews the contract on a three‑year cycle.
Buchanan said the updated agreement reflects a new three‑year cycle consistent with Tyler ISD policy. The motion to approve the CHISD/Tyler ISD RDSPD Renew Shared Agreement passed unanimously among trustees present.
