Castleberry recognizes alternative learning center students and fall athletes

Students and staff from Castleberry ISD’s REACH alternative learning center presented their "Destination Success" program and recognized staff members for their contributions. Chelsea Camarillo and Joshua Hernandez described substitute support, counseling, and graduation‑readiness work; Heaven Chavarria presented benchmark data (e.g., LA II: 67% approaches, 33% meets; U.S. history: 79% approaches, 58% meets) and noted student led conferences and college credit milestones.
The board also recognized fall athletes and team accomplishments: cheer, volleyball, cross country and football students shared awards and academic honors, highlighted record‑setting performances and community service projects. Students emphasized academic achievement alongside athletic success; staff and board members applauded both the competitive and community outreach accomplishments.
