County staff reported that a property sold at foreclosure in 1986 had never had a deed recorded transferring title to Edwin Perry; staff located the original board resolution approving the sale and asked the board to authorize recording the deed to correct the public record.
"We have discovered that there was a property that we gained possession of through foreclosure sale in 1986, and a deed was never reported transferring the property from us to Edwin Ferry," staff (speaker 8) said, asking supervisors to authorize recordation to correct the county's title records. Supervisors moved and approved the request by voice vote. The chair directed staff to proceed with recording the deed and to notify the affected property owner once the recordation is complete.
