Superintendent reports bond funds invested, drug testing and facility work

Superintendent Clint Askins provided several district updates at the Aug. 28 special meeting. Askins reported that bond funds have been invested and that the first round of drug testing at the high school has occurred.
He also told trustees that the district will not send board members or himself to the TASA/TASB conference scheduled Sept. 27-29 this year. Facilities work includes completion of the fencing around the football field and ongoing construction of a cook shed for the concession stand.
