Commissioner Tim Bechtol reported he drove Olive Street and confirmed recycling bins had been moved to a new location that he considered acceptable, and said heating problems in some offices are being handled as routine maintenance by staff member Mike Stump. Phil Johnson said Dick's Towing notified the county it will install signs in Lots H and I.
Commissioner William Bateson reported on an email from Jerry Greiner of the Northwest Water Sewer District about Allen Township's request to join the district; Cindy Land confirmed that Allen Township passed a resolution and the board asked staff to arrange a meeting with Jerry Greiner and township trustees. Tim also listed upcoming meetings including a pre-bid at 3:00 p.m. and a planned meeting with Scott Hardin on updated maps; he urged moving ahead on the RCM architectural services proposal for the courthouse first‑floor remodel and directed Phil Johnson to prepare a resolution to authorize the contract.
