At its Oct. 21 regular meeting, the Childress ISD Board recorded the following formal actions and votes:
- Motion #6151: Approve minutes dated Sept. 9, 2024, as presented. Motion by Mrs. Rabe; seconded by Mr. Teague. Motion carried 6-0.
- Motion #6152: Approve consent agenda items as presented, including amendments, transfers and donations. Motion by Dr. Green; seconded by Mr. Bruce. Motion carried 6-0.
- Motion #6153: Adopt a resolution declaring surplus and authorizing sale of the property at 1201 Ave I NW and authorizing the Board President and the Superintendent, or his designee, to take necessary notice and sale steps. Motion by Mr. Bruce; seconded by Dr. Green. Motion carried 6-0.
- Motion #6154: Declare Massey-Ferguson Tractor 135 surplus and list for sale on the Renee Bates Public Auction Site. Motion by Mr. Teague; seconded by Mrs. Freeman. Motion carried 6-0.
The board entered executive session at 7:43 p.m., finished at 8:13 p.m., and adjourned at 8:18 p.m. The meeting minutes do not record roll-call votes by member name for each motion; tallies are recorded as 6-0 with one absence noted (Mr. Stone).
