Superintendent Mr. Dykes had told the board earlier in his report that the City of Childress was voting the same night to approve a lease/purchase of the Gateway building from Childress ISD and that the city had requested deferred payments; Underwood Law Firm prepared the agreement. The board's resolution authorizes the district to take the actions required by law or board policy to complete the transaction.
