The board approved a yearly resolution renewing 4H as an extracurricular organization; the district reaffirmed that no-pass/no-play rules apply. Travis Shannon moved to renew the 4H extracurricular status and Anne Brownlee seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved a yearly renewal to recognize a San Saba extension agent with adjacent faculty status, enabling the agent to work with Cherokee ISD students when needed. The motion to renew the adjacent-faculty arrangement was made by Travis Shannon and seconded by Rodney Johnson and carried unanimously.
