Superintendent reports cafeteria leaks; board schedules budget and tax-rate meetings

Bordner listed meeting dates and times: the next board meeting on Aug. 11 at 5 p.m.; a budget workshop on Aug. 19 at 5 p.m.; and the Tax Rate & Budget Adoption meeting on Aug. 26 at 5 p.m., noting the board would discuss options such as a short‑term 'disaster pennies' approach to cover emergency needs for a possible three‑year period. Kayla Forehand moved to adjourn the special meeting at 7:03 p.m.; Travis Shannon seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
