Elementary principal says students like new Indian Bucks digital 'banking program'

McDaniel described the elementary's classroom-economy incentive: ‘‘Indian Bucks moved to digital "banking program"—pay desk rest, receive a salary for classroom jobs; can be fined and billed for behavioral issues—kids really like it so far!’’
The board received the elementary principal's report as an informational item during the Aug. 11 special session. No separate board action was recorded on the program in the official minutes.
