The Chapel Hill ISD Board accepted final payment for the Multi-Purpose Activity Center (MAC) project on Nov. 17 after officials reported that final inspections were completed and contractual obligations were met. Chris Blake, Executive Director of Operations, told trustees the work met contract specifications; the motion to accept final payment was made by Hershal Massenburge, seconded by Fred Elder Jr., and passed 5-0 with two absences.
Blake said required approvals were in place and the district recommended final payment to the contractor. The record shows the item as 10.D on the agenda and indicates project closeout actions were completed.
