Tinley Park board appoints property/evidence custodian and code compliance officer

The Village Board voted to appoint Anne Marie to the position of property and evidence custodian effective Aug. 10, 2026. President Glass summarized her qualifications, saying, "Anne Marie has 13 years of related experience in the evidence room operations, chain of custody, compliance, lawful disposition, court preparation, and interagency coordination," and noted she holds a bachelor of science in networking communications management.

Trustees moved and seconded the appointment and the clerk called the roll; the motion carried. During the same meeting the board also approved the appointment of Tim Janosak to the position of code compliance officer effective Aug. 6, 2026. The president described Tim’s background: "Tim has 24 years of experience in the glass manufacturing industry...he is familiar with the building codes and holds an International Code Council property maintenance and housing inspector certification." Trustees voted to confirm Tim’s appointment.
