Visitor asks whether ambulance should move to Marienville as HRG study continues

"Mr. Stoner requested clarity as to whether or not anyone came forward to request that the ambulance be moved to Marienville or if the study has been completed and any recommendations made?" he asked.
The three commissioners said no requests regarding the ambulance had been made to them. Commissioners said the consultant firm HRG remains "still conducting the study and working on a proposal," and no recommendation had yet been presented to the board. The board took no formal action on the matter at the meeting; the comment was recorded during the visitor recognition/public comment portion of the agenda.
The inquiry establishes that the location of ambulance services is under review but that no administrative change has been requested or approved as of Nov. 20. The county did not set a timeline for the HRG study during the meeting.
