Board approves Local School Health Advisory Council roster for 2025—2026

The Flatonia ISD Board of Trustees approved the Local School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) membership roster for the 2025—2026 school year at its Sept. 8 meeting.
Mr. Chris Sodek presented the roster and said it includes representation from parents, district staff and medical personnel to meet the requirements of TEC §28.004. Jessica Morrill moved to approve the roster; Dan Sullivan seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
No roster names or medical providers were read into the minutes. The board did not discuss specific SHAC charges or meeting dates during the public portion of the meeting.
