At its Oct. 21 meeting, the Claude ISD Board approved a cluster of routine resolutions and administrative policies. The board passed a resolution to cast 911 votes for Hayden Hook for the Armstrong County Appraisal District board (motion by Leah Lee, seconded by Johnny Sims) and approved a resolution addressing business-day determinations under HB 3033 and the Texas Public Information Act (motion by Leah Lee, seconded by Hayden Hook).
The board also approved the superintendent's goals (moved by Hayden Hook, seconded by Jessica Finley) and adopted the CISD investment policy (moved by Ryan Slack, seconded by Johnny Sims). Each motion passed by recorded unanimous votes among members present; the minutes record Carsen Roberts as absent for the roll call.
