Superintendent Chris Sodek told the board the district will use two transfer application types for 2026–27 — "returning student" and "new student" forms — so staff can set a hard deadline for students already attending the district. He said receiving returning transfer requests before the end of the current year allows the district to plan class counts and schedules more efficiently.
Sodek said the forms for 2026–27 "will be made available on our website and mailed out to current students on April 8th" and that returning-transfer forms must be completed and returned by May 6. New student transfer requests will still be accepted through the first day of the school year.
