Flatonia ISD reports 'impressive' Fall 2025 benchmark results; district will monitor targeted areas

Ashley Grahmann presented Fall 2025 benchmark data for math, reading/language arts, science and social studies and described the district-wide percentages as "impressive." She said the benchmarks are modified and that she can drill down to student-level items and associated TEKS to guide interventions.
Pastor Tim Rowell asked whether the benchmarks were the prior year's STAAR or modified assessments; Grahmann clarified the benchmarks are modified and used for diagnostic purposes. Trustees received the data as informational and district staff will continue monitoring and adjusting interventions as needed.
